Brief historical background, collections and exhibitions of the museum
The museum presents the entire history of the resort city from the early Scythian times to the present day.
Three expositions are particularly popular among resort guests:
- "At the Very Origins" – this exposition immerses guests in those distant times when warm springs gushed like fountains in the Belokurikha valley, people took baths in wooden troughs, and primitive bath barracks were a marvel of resort service!
- "To the Secrets of the Underground Laboratory" - this exposition clearly and accessibly, even for children, shows how our "living" water is born, what it consists of, and how it affects a person.
- "From the Lives of the Chiefs" – this exposition allows one to imagine the living environment of the people who created "Greater Belokurikha": the Minister of Medium Machine-Building E.P. Slavsky, the chief physician of the resort E.F. Chernyavsky, and the director of the resort A.N. Bulychev.
Some exhibitions, once opened, have gradually evolved into permanent expositions:
- "The Light of Distant Stars" – about the people who played a major role in the development of Belokurikha and the museum.
- "Burning Hearts" – about the cultural workers of the resort.
- "Life is Entrusted to Them" – about the doctors of the resort, etc.
The S.I. Gulyaev City Museum has an exhibition titled "Teachers of the Belokurikha Secondary School – Participants of the Great Patriotic War".
